Many of the Seattle chorus members, as well as some from Bellingham and BC came out to the annual Anacortes Salmon BBQ today at Washington Park. Winning the Novice Quartet Contest was QuadRadicals featuring NVP’s own James Jones and Jamie Severson. H14 (with a fill in for Drew) as well as Glee Club Riot also took the stage (as mic testers).

Every year, on the last weekend in July, Anacortes rocks to some of the best harmony on the planet. One of this year’s guest quartets is none other than Seattle (and Maple Ridge’s) own HHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! This is a great event that many member’s of the chorus attend!! Last year, NVP had a large number on stage for the Sunday BBQ & Salmon Bake!

Just over 1 year ago, most of the chorus left from Seattle and headed to Philadelphia for our first International experience. It was a week full of sight seeing, Philly cheese steaks, harmony, brotherhood and some amazing singing by all the choruses and quartets there. The weekend was also highlighted by an NVP proposal!!!

If you missed rehearsal on Sunday, July 24th, you really missed an awesome opportunity. Raymond Schwarzkopf was at Harmony College Northwest and we were lucky to have him for a few hours before he flew home. If you missed the rehearsal, ask someone that was there about Hydrolics!!!
